Paper Grocery Bags

MOM’s Organic Market needed a refresh of their paper grocery shopping bags. The bag concept sought to highlight its purpose: to protect and restore the environment. I designed the paper bag with the MOM’s logo as the center point on the front and back of the bag for clear brand recognition.

 

To accentuate the logo I incorporated vintage-style hand-drawn illustrations of produce including a carrot, leek, and mushrooms alluding to farmers’ markets and organic agriculture. Complementing the illustrations are vintage fonts inspired by rare century-old books. I utilized the MOM’s brand green from the logo for the design elements on the bag to adhere to the two color limitations to print on the bags.

 

The design is printed on sturdy recycled kraft paper with reinforced handles, aligning with MOM’s Organic Market’s mission to reduce plastic use and showcase its commitment to environmental sustainability.
